WIDDERSHINS” —A science fiction story that exists out of mind …
Available now in Alien Dimensions, Issue 14. You can read the story HERE .

ExcerptNow here he was only three weeks later, subject to the very event his father had warned against. There was no going back. The pieces had been shaped over his lifetime, drawn from an infinite series of events that he had felt, seen, imagined, and all the inevitable probabilities of each. There was no way to track it all, nothing he could depend on to show him how it was he had arrived where he was. What he did know was that the thoughts had gathered in an epiphany, transporting him from the ship into another world. They were the trigger for the unexpected configuration. That was what the Council, in their wisdom, had guaranteed. It was a test, after all, they reminded him. Find your own way back, or not. “It’s your mind to lose,” the senior programmer had said, laughing too much at his own humor. “And maybe our world.” No one laughed at that.

ROSE-COLORED GLASS“–This story (2016) is up on Aurora Wolf, A Literary Journal of Science Fiction and Fantasy–with great artwork. The setting is a planet that serves as a military prison outpost. You can read the story HERE
